Trichoptera (Caddisflies)

The order Trichoptera includes the caddisflies, and are holometabolous, meaning they spend their immature stage as a larvae, pupate, and then emerge as adults. Caddisflies spend their immature stage as aquatic larva, and their adult stage as terrestrial.
