Maine Entomological Society Webinar Series Focus

 The Maine Entomological Society purpose is to support, encourage and promote the study of the insect and terrestrial arthropod fauna of Maine.

 MES Seminars should:

  • Have a Maine connection

  • Highlight the value of insects

  • Be geared to a general audience

This is not a pest control forum, there are other entities that fulfill that role. Presentations about insects that are pests is acceptable as long as it highlights the areas other than control. Examples would be life history, interactions between insects, metabolic systems, dispersal mechanisms, and many others.
